How to get help
Use the Contact & feedback form on the SubtitleFinder home page to report a problem, ask a question, or send product feedback. Include enough detail to reproduce the issue, such as the feature you were using, the subtitle language, and any error message you saw.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, API secrets, or other sensitive credentials in a support message.
Subtitle search and exact matching
If a subtitle search does not return the expected release, provide the movie or episode title, release filename, and requested language. For exact matching with a local video, use the file-selection workflow so SubtitleFinder can calculate the supported fingerprints locally.
Your selected video is not uploaded for fingerprint matching. See the Privacy page for details about local processing and the limited information sent for subtitle lookup.
Synchronization and translation
If synchronization fails, include the error shown by SubtitleFinder and whether the problem occurred while preparing the subtitle, analyzing the selected video, aligning subtitles, or preparing the download.
For translation problems, include the source and target languages and the displayed job status or error. Do not attach the complete video file.
Downloads
If a download button does not open or the download has expired, retry the relevant SubtitleFinder workflow. Temporary synchronized-subtitle download links may be short-lived and single-use.
Accounts and subscriptions
For sign-in, account, subscription, or billing questions, use the Contact & feedback form and provide the email address associated with your SubtitleFinder account when a reply is needed. Never include your password or full payment-card number.
ChatGPT integration
When reporting an issue with the Subtitle Finder integration in ChatGPT, include the prompt you used, the action that failed, and the error text shown in ChatGPT or the Subtitle Finder widget. A screenshot can be useful if it does not expose sensitive information.
